Certification fees

The fees below went into effect as of 1 January 2023 till 31 December 2023. The fees are levied based on the calendar year. No refunds will be paid upon early termination. This page features the fees for both individual certification as well as those for participating financial institutions.

Fees for 2023

Employee DSI certification fees

• The fee is based on the status of the DSI certification as of the end of the year.
• A maximum of two certifications will be billed per person.
• If the certification goes into effect after 1 July, the annual certification fee will be halved.
• If the certification goes into effect in December, no certification costs will be billed for the current year.
• You will not be billed for administration costs for new certifications.
• If the certification pertains to a policymaker who has already been screened by AMF/DNB for his/her current or new position, then you will be billed a one-time fee of € 52,- per certification request.
• If the certification request is denied, then you will be billed the amount of € 171 for the screening and € 52,- for administrative costs.
• All amounts are excluding VAT for financial institutions.

Fees for financial institutions

• The annual fee for business participation in DSI is based on the number of the participating company’s employees certified with DSI as of the last day of the year.
• All amounts are excluding VAT.

*Self-employed entrepreneurs pay no participation fees.
