Learning outcomes and accreditation with DSI
The DSI Learning Outcomes are the basis for all certifications. Educators can have their training or examination accredited if it meets the final attainment levels. Thus, everyone knows what knowledge and skills are required for DSI registration.
Accreditation for training and examinations
Accreditation exams
DSI accredits examinations offered. In short, accreditation means that the DSI Accreditation Committee, consisting of various experts, evaluates and approves third-party qualifications if they meet the learning outcomes. Accredited programs allow employers and certified individuals to choose from the available range of training institutions.
All accredited exams and courses have been carefully checked by experts from the DSI Accreditation Commission
Cost
An accreditation request costs a one-time € 5,250 excluding VAT per track. Accredited qualifications can be renewed annually at €1,732.50 excluding VAT per pathway.
Updating final attainment levels
Learning outcomes are periodically updated. Changing legislation may be the cause of this, but developments in the profession may also lead to the revision of the final terms. If learning outcomes are updated by DSI, re-accreditation must take place. All rules regarding accreditation can be found in our Accreditation Process Regulations. The accreditation of examinations providing access to the ESMA registers is governed by the Accreditation Regulations.
Registering for a course and/or exam
A large selection of trainers have already been accredited by DSI, and an overview of these accredited trainers is available on our website. If, as an institute, you would like to offer your courses and exam for accreditation of a specific certification, you can do so with the secretary of the DSI Accreditation Committee, Mark van der Lecq, via the contact form or call 020 620 12 74. Mark is also happy to answer any additional questions about the final requirements.
