I am Roeland, and since 2021, I have been committed to raising awareness of integrity and professionalism in a creative and understandable way at DSI. Projects like Between the Rules and CTRL SHFT are close to my heart. They arise from real conversations with professionals and give space to what is chafing in practice and where opportunities lie. For me they are projects in which everything comes together: listening, connecting and translating complex issues clearly. That is exactly what drives me: communication that makes people think and opens conversations that matter.

As Customer Care Officer, I work together with 2 other CCO employees. Together we ensure in a service-oriented way that certification applications and questions regarding certification are handled as well as possible. I also prepare reports for the AFM and help improve the website. Of course, we at DSI together ensure that we are constantly changing, in order to improve the process for everyone.

Together with our team of professionals, DSI advisory and disciplinary committees, industry associations and the board of our foundation, I work with enthusiasm to strengthen and safeguard integrity and professionalism in the financial sector. We do this by continuously improving our services based on the wishes of our participants. We ensure that our registers are in line with current laws and regulations so that the professionals working for our participants are demonstrably competent for clients and the regulator. We share knowledge and insights on current topics. I have always worked at the interface between the public and private sectors and in particular in the financial sector. DSI is for me an ideal place where many interests come together and where I can use my knowledge and experience.

As Lead Legal, I am responsible for legal and compliance matters within DSI. In addition, I act as a prosecutor on behalf of DSI at the Disciplinary Committee and the Appeals Committee. I also serve as secretary to the various Advisory Committees and the Accreditation Committee. Together with these commissions, DSI organizes the accreditation of courses and exams.

As Customer Care Officer, I work with 2 other CCO’s, among others, and we make sure that certification requests and questions regarding certification are handled as well as possible. Through our extra service orientation we want to provide a 9+ service for the customer. In this way we want to ensure that the applicant feels personally addressed and connected to DSI.

Relationship Manager

As Relationship Manager, I am responsible for maintaining the relationship with participants (employers). I am the first point of contact for participants regarding company participation, certification of their employees and the employer portal. Together with several colleagues I identify the needs of the participants and translate these needs into optimal solutions suitable for both the client and DSI. Together we ensure a good cooperation with the participants and a professional and honest investment industry. I am Marin, Lead Strategy & Innovation at DSI. In this role, I form the link between vision and execution. My focus is on connecting the strategic vision with concrete innovation: from digital solutions and process optimization to discovering new opportunities in technology and services. In practice, this means that I am concerned with shaping our strategy, driving innovation within our team and seeing opportunities to make our organization more agile and future-proof. I believe in collaboration and open dialogue. Whether you have ideas for new initiatives, suggestions to improve our processes, or just want to spar about trends and developments in the industry and beyond, my door is always open. Together we will build a future driven by innovation and progress.

As Manager Operations at DSI, I am responsible for the daily operations of the certification processes and the management of the Customer Care Officers. I like to look for improvement opportunities in order to further investigate and develop them together with the team. My heart lies in increasing customer satisfaction in our service delivery. And of course I love arranging!

I have enjoyed working at DSI since 2017, as of 2023 as Lead Finance & HR administrator. In this new challenge, I am responsible for the financial administration and am ultimately responsible for accounting such as accounts payable/debtor management. I also take care/check budgets and prepare various financial reports. Of course in cooperation with my colleagues from DSI.
