DSI was established with investment firms as a self-regulatory institute for integrity and professional competence. Professionals can only certify with DSI through a participant organization. A DSI participant is an organization in the financial sector that is actively committed to integrity, competence and professionalism of its employees. If a company has an AFM or DNB license, the organization can join DSI and thus also become a participant.
