Use of the DSI logo
If you are certified, of course you want to communicate that. As a DSI-certified professional, you may use the DSI logo for that purpose. However, there are conditions attached to this logo use. Read further here for the general conditions and use on social media such as Twitter and LinkedIn.
Show that you are certified
If you are certified with DSI and included in the DSI Public Register, you may mention your certification in your communications. This way you make it clear to (potential) clients, prospects and regulator that you are certified and thus meet the latest requirements in terms of knowledge, skills and integrity.

Share your DSI certification on LinkedIn
On LinkedIn, you can share that you are DSI-certified or have passed DSI’s Continuing Professional Education program. Under “organization,” choose DSI Foundation. The certificate number and credential URL are not required. In addition, stay informed and follow DSI on LinkedIn and YouTube.
Use of the DSI logo by companies
Increasingly, DSI member companies are using the DSI logo to promote financial services or products. DSI supports this visibility, provided the logo is used correctly and carefully. Improper or unauthorized use may detract from the value of the DSI registration.
Protected logo
The DSI logo is a registered and legally protected trademark, registered in the Netherlands and abroad. Use of the logo is permitted only after prior written permission from DSI. In the event of unauthorized use or incorrect application, DSI reserves the right to take legal action. No rights can be derived from the use of the DSI logo.
If permission is granted, designs incorporating the logo (such as format and use of color) must be submitted to DSI in advance for approval. Approval will always be confirmed in writing.
General terms and conditions and use of DSI logo

In toenemende mate willen deelnemende ondernemingen het DSI-logo inzetten bij de promotie van financiële diensten of producten. Wij juichen dit uiteraard toe, maar we willen wel dat ons logo rechtmatig wordt gebruikt. Onrechtmatig gebruik doet afbreuk aan de DSI-registratie.
Let op: aan het gebruik van het DSI-logo is een aantal voorwaarden verbonden. De belangrijkste zijn:
- Het is voor niet-DSI-deelnemers of niet-DSI-gecertificeerden verboden om het DSI-logo te gebruiken op een wijze die een actieve deelname aan of registratie bij DSI suggereert;
- Een DSI-deelnemer mag het logo alleen gebruiken indien de medewerkers op integriteitgevoelige functies, of ten minste de medewerkers met klantcontact en hun leidinggevenden, DSI-gecertificeerd zijn en zichtbaar in het DSI Openbaar Register;
- Uit de wijze waarop het logo door een DSI-deelnemer wordt gebruikt, dient duidelijk te blijken dat het logo verwijst naar bij DSI gecertificeerd personeel;
- Het DSI-logo mag alleen worden gebruikt om DSI of producten of diensten van DSI aan te duiden;
- Het DSI-logo mag niet worden gebruikt op een manier die suggereert dat DSI het bedrijf, producten of faciliteiten van een derde sponsort, goedkeurt of aanbeveelt indien dit niet het geval is;
- Het DSI-logo mag niet worden gebruikt op een manier waardoor een negatief beeld wordt gegeven van DSI of haar producten of diensten.

Ja. Iedere professionals die vermeld staan in het Openbare DSI-register mogen het DSI-logo voeren. Ook kandidaat gecertificeerden staan hierin geregistreerd.

Het DSI-logo mag op social media worden gebruikt door gecertificeerde professionals en aangesloten organisaties om hun certificering of samenwerking met DSI te tonen. Het logo mag alleen worden gebruikt in de aangeleverde vorm en mag niet worden aangepast, vervormd of los worden ingezet. Gebruik van het logo mag niet de indruk wekken van een officieel standpunt, goedkeuring of samenwerking buiten de geldende afspraken.

Dat is uitsluitend toegestaan wanneer je beschikt over een certificering die zichtbaar is in het DSI Openbaar Register. Voer je werkzaamheden uit voor een onderneming die bij DSI is aangesloten, maar is er geen sprake van een dienstverband of gezagsrelatie? In dat geval – je bent bijvoorbeeld ZZP’er – mag je jouw DSI-registratie uitsluitend voeren in relatie tot de werkzaamheden die je voor de betreffende onderneming uitvoert (en dus niet in relatie tot andere opdrachtgevers).
Ben je DSI-gecertificeerd en is jouw registratie zichtbaar in ons Openbaar Register, dan mag je in jouw uitingen (zoals bijvoorbeeld op uw visitekaartje) het DSI-logo voeren met de functietitel zoals je die gewend bent in je eigen organisatie.
