DSI Webinar: Devil’s dilemmas
On December 6, 2021, the DSI Foundation organized the live webinar Devilish dilemmas of investment professionals. Together with over 90 participants from the investment industry and an expert panel led by Margreeth Kloppenburg, diabolical dilemmas from the daily practice of an investment professional were discussed and analyzed.
As an investment professional, you make every effort to act with integrity. You are skilled and you take integrity training courses. Nevertheless, you are sometimes faced with an integrity dilemma. Often because of someone else, for example a client or a colleague. How do you deal with this?
Diabolical dilemmas from real-life experience
During the webinar, based on the three videos, we discussed several dilemmas that actually took place in practice. Host Margreeth Kloppenburg analyzes the dilemmas together with Tanja Nagel(Board Chair DSI) and Gijs Verschuuren(Chief Risk Officer IBS Capital Allies / Member – DSI Advisory Committee Integrity). The special thing about these dilemmas is, that they have actually been dealt with by the DSI Disciplinary Committee in the past.
