Review request – October 2023
On October 3, 2023, the chairman of the DSI Disciplinary Committee, Mr. R.K. Pijpers, decided to grant the request to review a previous decision of DSI. This request requested that a complaint against [certified] still be submitted to the DSI Disciplinary Committee. After examining the file, the chairman concludes that there may be not only negligent conduct but also disciplinary culpability on the part of [certified]. Therefore, the request for review is granted.
The chairman emphasized that disciplinary proceedings are a serious remedy, but that the importance of compliance with the DSI Code of Conduct and review by the Disciplinary Committee outweighed this case. The DSI Disciplinary Committee will now assess whether there has actually been a breach of the Code of Conduct and what consequences should be attached.
