Tanja Nagel new chief executive officer DSI
Former bank executive Tanja Nagel will become the new chairperson of the DSI Foundation Board as of July 1. She succeeds Dirk Schoenmaker, who is stepping down after a full term as chairman.
Tanja Nagel gained a lot of knowledge and experience with her long career in top positions, which she will now also put to use for DSI.
Strengthening trust
Nagel: “The importance of a trustworthy financial sector remains unchanged. The sector is in motion, and that makes DSI’s contribution to strengthening trust relevant. I look forward to making my contribution to a sustainable fulfillment of DSI’s added value.”
Nagel enjoys using her knowledge and experience to benefit social functions as a supervisor and advisor. She is currently a supervisory director at EY Nederland and PNO Consultants. She is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Stichting Oncode and the Veerstichting, a member of the Advisory Board of Frans Hals Museum l De Hallen and a board member of the University Fund of the University of Utrecht. She is also involved in various social initiatives and is a business partner in the program “Doing Business” on BNR.
The importance of a trustworthy financial sector remains unchanged. The sector is in flux, and that makes DSI’s contribution to strengthening trust relevant.
Plenty of added value
Dirk Schoenmaker is handing over the gavel after completing his term on the board. Schoenmaker: “Over the past seven years, DSI has done much to strengthen trust in the financial sector through our robust system of screening, certification and discipline. With the knowledge and experience that Tanja Nagel brings with her, I am confident that DSI, in partnership with the industry, will continue to keep integrity at the forefront in the years to come.”
