Together with our team of professionals, advisory and disciplinary committees of DSI, industry associations, and the board of our foundation, I enthusiastically work on strengthening and safeguarding integrity and competence in the financial sector. We achieve this by continuously improving our services based on the preferences of our participants. We ensure that our registers are aligned with applicable laws and regulations, thereby demonstrating the competence of professionals working at our participants to customers and regulators. We share knowledge and insights on current themes.
I have always worked at the intersection of the public and private sectors, particularly in the financial sector. DSI is an ideal place for me where many interests converge, and where I can leverage my knowledge and experience.
Mark van der Lecq
As Lead Legal, I am responsible for legal and compliance matters within DSI. Additionally, I act on behalf of DSI as a prosecutor before the Disciplinary Committee and the Appeals Committee. I also serve as the secretary for various Advisory Committees and the Accreditation Committee. Together with these committees, DSI organizes the accreditation of education and exams.
As a Relationship Manager, I am responsible for maintaining the relationship with participants (employers). I serve as the primary point of contact for participants regarding company participation, certification of their employees, and the employer portal.
I work closely with various colleagues to assess the participants’ needs and translate these wishes into optimal solutions that benefit both the customer and DSI. Together, we ensure a strong partnership with the participants and a knowledgeable and ethical investment sector.

Since April 2021, I have enthusiastically and diligently fulfilled my role at DSI as a Management Assistant/Office Manager. I am responsible for supporting the management team, including scheduling meetings.
As an Office Manager, I oversee the office’s management and ensure the smooth operation of daily office activities, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, allowing my colleagues to focus on their tasks without concerns about the operational aspects of the office.
As the Manager of Operations at DSI, I am responsible for the daily operations related to the certification processes and the supervision of the Customer Care Officers. I enjoy actively seeking opportunities for improvement, which I then explore and develop with the team. My passion lies in enhancing customer satisfaction in our service delivery, and I certainly have a knack for organizing!
As a Customer Care Officer, I collaborate with two other CCOs to ensure the smooth handling of certification requests and inquiries related to certification. Our goal is to ensure that our service is perceived as excellent. Thanks to my years of experience, I can share my knowledge and contribute to the improvement of our processes.
As a Customer Care Officer, I collaborate with two other CCOs. Together, we ensure that certification requests and inquiries related to certification are handled in a service-oriented manner. Additionally, I compile reports for entities like AFM and contribute to website improvements. Of course, at DSI, we collectively strive for continuous improvement, aiming to enhance the process for everyone.
As a Customer Care Officer, I work alongside two other CCOs, collectively ensuring the efficient processing of certification requests and inquiries related to certification. Our commitment to providing exceptional service is aimed at delivering a 9+ service experience for our customers. We aspire to make sure that applicants feel personally addressed and connected to DSI.
I am Marin, and I serve as the Lead Digital at DSI. As a digital pioneer, I am dedicated to shaping our digital strategy and creating innovative solutions that connect us with the rapidly changing world of financial technology. In practice, this means that I am involved in the (further) development of our application MijnDSI, as well as the surrounding application landscape such as CRM and Datadog. With a passion for technological advancement and digital transformation, I also work on streamlining and optimizing our processes.

Since 2017, I have been working with great pleasure at DSI, and as of 2023, I hold the position of Lead Finance & HR Administrator. In this new challenge, I am responsible for financial administration and have ultimate accountability for accounting, including accounts payable and receivable management. I also handle budgeting and the preparation and verification of various financial reports, all in collaboration with my colleagues at DSI.
As the Lead Marketing & Communication at DSI since 2021, I am responsible for the internal and external positioning of DSI. Alongside my colleagues and partners in the industry, I explore where DSI can continue to be of added value to achieve and maintain an ethical and competent financial sector.
