more information

The DSI Public Register lists both Certified Professionals and Candidate Certified Professionals, which indicates that they comply with the provisions of the DSI Code of Conduct. The difference between a Certified Professional and a Candidate Certified Professional lies in the level of education or work experience the professional has acquired. You can find a more detailed description of the difference between a Certified Professional and a Candidate Certified Professional here. Passively Certified Professionals are not listed in the DSI Public Register.

As a consumer, it is important to realise that DSI recommends only entering into a partnership with certified professionals, as they have proven to meet all of the requirements. A DSI Certified Professional has undergone a screening, met the current legal educational requirements, possesses the proper work experience and stands for fair and honest professional behaviour.

If the DSI Ethics Committee or Appeals Committee has imposed a sanction on the Certified Professional, then a note to that effect will be posted under their name in the register.

The Public Register was created at the request of, and in partnership with, businesses and branch associations in the financial sector.
