In order to keep your knowledge up to date, you need to complete the entire PE program at one educator. These training providers are accredited by DSI and deliver current and relevant programs. DSI ensures the quality and content of these programs by annually determining their topics. The sequence in which these topics are covered may vary among training providers. Consequently, we only consider PE results from participants who have completed the entire annual program with one provider. Should you wish to switch from educator, then this can be done at the start of the new PE year.
You can find a list of accredited education providers in this overview. Several different providers offer accredited Continuing Professional Education programs, so we recommend that you ask your employer if the organisation has made any arrangements with a specific provider. Many DSI participants have made such arrangements, so you may not have to choose a provider on your own.
As soon as the PE 2025 program becomes available with the training providers, you can begin with the PE 2025. However, we recommend completing PE 2024 first.
You have the opportunity to successfully complete the PE 2024 until April 1, 2025. If you haven’t passed the PE 2024 program by this date, your status in the DSI Public Register will be converted to Candidate Certified, regardless of whether you have already started with PE 2025.
If you were registered with DSI after January 1st 2025, you were not obligated for PE for 2024. You can immediately start with PE 2025 as soon as the PE 2025 program becomes available.
If you are registered with DSI before January 1st of the current calendar year, then you are required to complete the Continuing Professional Education program. It is important for you to keep your knowledge up-to-date, even if you have not yet earned all of the required diplomas or certificates.
This requirement does not apply to Candidate Certified Professionals or Certified Professionals listed in the Integrity register and AML Register.
If a (Candidate)Certified Professional does not successfully complete the program before 1 April 2026, then their current status in the DSI register will be converted to ‘Candidate Certified Professional’. That means you no longer meet the legal requirements for proving your professional expertise.
No, if you registered with DSI in 2025, then you are not required to complete the Continuing Professional Education program until 2026.
If you have already been registered at DSI in the last two years, you do have the obligation to complete PV 2025.
There is no Continuing Professional Education program for the Integrity register at this moment, so the requirement does not apply to you.
We expect you to have successfully completed PV 2025 before January 1, 2026.
If you have not yet started one of the PV programs, please contact the trainings institute who offer PV 2025 program to register for this program. Always check with your employer if there are any agreements with one of the training institutes.
The Continuing Professional Education objectives differ from register to register. The learning objectives for each register are listed on this page.
