MijnDSI Screening - Request & uploads

  • How long does a screening usually take?

    At the moment, it may take a bit longer than usual to process your screening application due to the increased number of screening applications. As a result, there is a waiting list for processing screening applications.

    A screening procedure takes time to complete due to the many verifications that DSI must conduct. Once DSI has processed your screening application, we can issue the screening report within an average of 10 working days.

    DSI is working hard to speed up the processing of applications, and we appreciate your patience in this matter.

  • How can I upload my DUO transcript?

    To speed up the verification process for your highest completed degree, we ask that you request a free transcript from the DUO register. DSI will verify the document using digital authentication characteristics. To request a transcript, go to and log in using your DigiD (with text message authentication). You can then download the transcript, save it and upload the file with your request.

  • How can I share five years of my work history?

    Follow the instructions below to share your work experience over the past five years:

    Make sure that you cover the entire period of the past five years. You can do that in the following ways:

    • Signed employer’s statements must be provided for any work period longer than 4 months. Your (former) employer can sign these statements digitally when you send your (former) employer an e-mail from your MijnDSI account. If you do not have an e-mail address, then the process is more complicated, but you can still generate an employer’s statement. You can then print out the statement and send it to your (former) employer for signature. When you receive the signed employer’s statement in return, you can scan it or take a photo and add the file to the relevant employment period.
    • Your (former) employer or HR officer are authorised to sign your employer’s statement for DSI. If you have any questions about signature authorisation, please ask your (former) employer;
    • For periods without a work history, please select the correct category in the drop-down menu. We ask that you do not use the category ‘multiple periods’.
